60 miles north of Manhattan, on the east shore of the Hudson River, is a small, but historically significant tributary known as the Wappinger Creek. A few thousand feet upstream lies Wappingers Falls- named after the native American tribes who originally inhabited the region. Rich in culture and diversity- this small locality was founded upon and continues in its tradition of hard work, the entrepreneurial spirit, and the common good.
The Village of Wappingers Falls is located along US Route 9 directly between the cities of Beacon and Poughkeepsie, just 2 miles from Metro Norths New Hamburg Station (90 minutes from Grand Central Terminal-Hudson River Line).

All signs are indicating that this village is in the early stages of a true “Revival” period: As of February 2018, six new businesses have opened their doors in the last 3 months, another 3-4 are anticipated shortly, the Planning Board is reviewing a record number of applications for new businesses and building renovations, construction projects that have been on hold for years are now coming back to life, real estate professionals are reporting escalated interest in both commercial and residential properties, and the village streets and shops are coming alive with visible activity from long-time residents, newcomers, and visitors alike.
