Welcome to The Village of Wappingers Falls

60 miles north of Manhattan, on the east shore of the Hudson River, is a small, but historically significant tributary known as the Wappingers Creek.  A few thousand feet upstream lies Wappingers Falls- named after the native American tribes who originally inhabited the region. Rich in culture and diversity- this small locality was founded upon and continues in its tradition of hard work, the entrepreneurial spirit, and the common good. Use this website to see all the we have to offer in The Village and important points of interest a bit beyond Village as well.
